Mālā & Mindful Adornments
This collection embodies both Mālā and Holy crosses to enable the spiritual connection to a physical force. I'm planning on adding Rosary's as well at a future time. Mālā- A string of beads, traditionally 108, is considered sacred in many traditions. I focus on using organic beads, shells and other objects as suggested by purists. Used for repetitions of a mantra or prayer during meditative practices. "Mālā" originates from Sanskrit and translates to "meditative garland" or "prayer beads". Used in various spiritual traditions, Hinduism and Buddhism. Thoughts on using Shells in Mala: Symbolism: Shells often represent protection and the journey of life in various cultures. Natural Materials: They provide a connection to nature, enhancing the spiritual aspect of the mala. Meditation Aid: Shells can help focus the mind during meditation, promoting tranquility. Cultural Significance: In some traditions, shells are believed to carry spiritual energy or blessings. Aesthetic Appeal: Their unique shapes and colors add beauty and individuality to the mala. Sustainability: Using shells can be an eco-friendly choice, utilizing natural materials responsibly.
