Leho Love

Leho is the Hawaiian word for Cowrie Shell. I love Cowries. Cowrie shells are so beautiful, encompassing so many different sizes, colors and even texture. They are a marine snail, oval shape, usually shiny and used to be used as currency in many parts of the world. They symbolize fertility, femininity, creation, and good fortune. There are a few endemic varieties of Cowries in Hawaii, my favorite being the Granulated! Granulated has bumps on its back, and the teeth are so amazing. I love to use them whole, or part of them for necklaces and earrings. I hope you love them as much as I do! xo Here is more information about them!
