Beautiful single 1/2 cowry with accent fresh-water pearl on a 17.5" very unique chain. The shell is a purple mouth cowrie.

I found this chain at a jewelry show and fell in love with the details. It is a Delicate lizard Green 2mm Miyuki Delica Japanese seed beads, with 2mm gold beaded (18K) chain. It is made with 18K gold-plate over brass, with a non-tarnishing coat. Lead, nickel and cadmium free.

Clasp is detailed Filigree fishhook clasp, so not adjustable. 

What I like about this Cowrie shell is it's open on the back, so you can see how very cool it is. Some say its only 1/2 of the shell, but I think it's cool! Cowry measures 3/4" long x 7mm wide.

The color of the cowrie is a yellow creme with a touch of lavender.
